

Abstract Guidelines
Welcome to the abstract submission portal for the Hong Kong Geriatrics Society's Annual Scientific Meeting 2025, taking place on June 21, 2025, at the JW Marriott Hotel, Hong Kong. This year, we are excited to explore the theme “Advances in Geriatric Medicine: Innovations, Challenges, and Future Directions,” which underscores the transformative developments in elderly care driven by pioneering research and innovative practices. We invite researchers, clinicians, and scholars to share their insights and findings in geriatric medicine, contributing to the evolution of our field. Please read through the guidelines below and submit your abstract to seize this valuable opportunity. Selected exceptional submissions will have the chance for oral presentations during the meeting, with three prestigious prizes—the Chan Sik Prize, Ng Yau Yung Prize, and Ng Ngai Shing Prize—awarded to the most distinguished contributions. An abstract should include information about the applicant and any corresponding authors, as well as the following sections:

Important notice
- You may submit more than one abstract; however, only one prize will be awarded. The Asian Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology will publish the abstracts as a supplement, and authors will retain their rights to submit manuscripts to other journals.
- Abstract submissions must adhere strictly to the word limit of 500 words, excluding table / figure / graph.
- Once submitted, abstracts may not be edited or updated.
- After the submission deadline, all abstracts will be assessed by the ASM Scientific Committee. Outstanding works will be chosen for oral presentation be held on-site at HKGS ASM 2025 in front of the Scientific Committee, in order to win the illustrious prizes.
- All presenting authors (local and overseas) are required to attend on-site for the live oral presentation. No alternative arrangement (e.g. online presentation) will be arranged. Candidates who do not attend the live presentation will automatically deem withdrawal from the prize-winning contest.
- Details of oral presentation and its assessment will be notified by e-mail to the presenting authors of each outstanding work at least one month before the event day.
